Coronavirus cases, hospital treatment situation and deaths
THL reports key information on coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. This site contains information about the disease: the number of cases and tests, incidence and deaths in their own tabs.
The data entity is primarily aimed at citizens and the media.
The information on the number of analysed coronavirus samples has been based on the data provided by the laboratories. This separate data collection has ended in June 2023.
The information on this page will be updated on Thursdays at noon, last updated on 3.4.2025.
Situation nationwide
- A total of 1 537 662 coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in Finland during the entire coronavirus epidemic
- Change from last reporting date (26.3.): +67
- The Incidence of cases during the last two weeks of monitoring (17.–30.3.) is 2 (cases / 14 days / 100,000 inhabitants)

Information on the data
The sources of the data are THL’s Finnish National Infectious Diseases Register and the number of tests reported independently by laboratories.
New information takes a few days to reach the National Infectious Diseases Register, so register data may be updated retrospectively. The information on this page will be updated on Thursdays at noon.
