Making effectiveness a visible part of development work

In the renewal of Innokylä, the service has been developed in particular from the perspective of impact. A new feature is the impact self-assessment of models, which makes the quality and results of development work more concrete. Models that have been assessed and demonstrated to be effective will stand out more clearly in Innokylä.

New content elements also include support for implementation and various knowledge products.

In addition to the impact assessment, Innokylä has been renewed in terms of its structure, search functions and visual appearance.

Support for developers, decision-making and knowledge-based management

Innokylä is intended for all developers, experts and decision-makers in the social welfare and health sector, as well as in health and wellbeing promotion, working in wellbeing services counties, municipalities and organisations. As a result of the renewal, the service offers more concrete support for users working in different tasks and roles.

For developers, the service provides a more flexible structure for developing, describing and assessing practices, as well as support for implementation. For decision-makers and management, Innokylä brings together scattered development information and supports knowledge-based management by providing an overall picture of effective practices.

A closer part of THL’s operations

In the future, Innokylä will be an even stronger part of THL’s service portfolio. This will more closely integrate it with THL’s expert work and strengthen its role as a supporter of development, a promoter of the implementation of operating models and a disseminator of effective solutions. Strengthening innovation competence across Finland is at the core.
