Survey for people working in services for persons with disabilities has been opened
The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) is carrying out a survey aimed at studying the experiences of people working in services for persons with disabilities during the coronavirus epidemic. Taking the survey is voluntary. The survey is part of the broader Shaping the Future project administered by the Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, which is being partly implemented by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The survey will be open between 9 March 2022 and 9 April 2022.
The purpose of the survey is to find out how respondents feel the coronavirus epidemic has affected work, the workplace, and the work community and what new practices have been introduced in the workplace in areas such as the way services are organized. In addition, the survey examines the changes in the everyday lives of persons with disabilities as observed by the workers. Also of interest are the measures and methods adopted in the services to prevent coronavirus infections and communication between customers and workers during the coronavirus epidemic.
