Research and projects
THL carries out research projects within a large range of topics related to health and welfare within various disciplines. The research projects make good use of THL data resources, registers and statistical data. The research activities form a solid basis for development projects and expert work, and provide evidence-based information to support the decision-makers and experts at various levels of the governmental and health and social welfare sectors. Most of the research and development projects are carried out in close collaboration with Finnish and international partners.
