Our work culture is based on trust, responsibility, transparency and equitability. According to the employee satisfaction survey conducted in 2022, our strengths lie, for example, in offering interesting and challenging tasks, providing our employees with comprehensive knowledge of the objectives of the work and fostering a welcoming work community.

Competent personnel

We promote the competence and development of our personnel by offering them training on, for example, customer work, applying for research funding, LEAN working methods and pedagogy aimed at obtaining a docentship. Our employees have an opportunity to take part in various events and seminars.

We encourage our employees to try different ways of learning, such as job rotation and new tasks within the organisation.

Well-being at work

Our goal is to secure the well-being of all our employees in a changing work environment. The building blocks for well-being at work include a conversational atmosphere, guided breaks, professional management and a functional rewarding system. Flexible working hours allow for the smooth coordination of work and leisure time, and many tasks can be carried out either remotely or at the workplace.

In addition to offering them an interesting job, we provide our employees with extensive occupational health care services and sport and culture benefits.

Good leadership

Leadership at THL is professional, and it is constantly being developed even further. All managers receive coaching and work guidance, and their performance is assessed on a regular basis. To support the management work, THL has in place various systems and tools that enable the implementation of knowledge-based management and reporting.

Pay

Pay at THL is competitive on the current labour market. THL applies the national government pay system (VPJ). The pay consists of a job compensation based on the complexity of the task and a performance salary that is based on personal performance.
