We have restructured our corona pages related to travel. The website contains up-to-date information on travel during the corona pandemic.
In particular, the website contains information on health safety measures in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act, which applies to all those people arriving in the country, including Finnish citizens. These health safety measures include checking corona related certificates at the points of entry into Finland and corona tests at or after the entry into the country.
Foreign tourists may be required to present a corona certificate at the border as a prerequisite for entering into the country, which are not required of Finnish citizens or permanent residents. Such terms and conditions, i.e., the conditions for entry into the country, are decided by the Government and must always be checked on the website of the Finnish Border Guard.
