Permission to connect your data between the coronavirus app and symptom assessment form
Koronavilkku was an application produced by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) that allowed users to receive alerts of potential exposure to COVID-19.
If Koronavilkku notified you of a potential exposure and directed you to fill in the COVID-19 symptom assessment on Omaolo, you could grant permission to Omaolo to connect information between the app and the symptom assessment form: "I grant permission that the information I provide on the symptom assessment form can later be connected with a possible positive COVID-19 test result".

If you granted permission to connect your data, the National Institute for Health and Welfare could later connect the notification about a COVID-19 infection from the laboratory and information on the Omaolo symptom assessment.
If you wish, you can also cancel or grant permission, even now that the application has been shut down. Both granting and cancelling permissions can be done by sending a message to the National Institute for Health and Welfare at suomi.fi.
