Digitalisation in the healthcare and social services takes many different forms
Digitalisation is a key part of healthcare and social services. Digital solutions, such as electronic appointment booking, remote consultations, and electronic health records and client information systems, are becoming an increasingly important part of the service system.
Digital services enable clients to manage their affairs regardless of time and place. In addition, various digital wellbeing services and applications enable the monitoring of one's own health and wellbeing.
However, digital solutions are not suitable for all situations. Therefore, it is important to continuously examine the development of digitalisation as part of healthcare and social services to ensure that services are accessible.
