Translations of the ACE-THL
Copies of any publications using the ACE-THL should be sent to the email address: ace-thl(at)thl.fi to be added to the reference list for the method.
The ACE-THL questionnaire is currently available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The ACE-THL Questionnaire is freely available for use by referring to the psychometric validation article (Hietamäki, Laajasalo, Lindgren & Therman, 2023):
We have a standardized protocol for the translation – which is available on request – including, among other requirements, the use of professional translators, an expert panel for evaluating the cultural applicability of the content and adjusting item text in a documented process, and our review on at least two independent back-translations.
The translators of the language versions agree to free use and distribution of their translations, which are available through this THL website and/or the Julkari open repository.
