Open data

THL promotes wide-ranging use of information resources in the field of social and health care. As part of this objective, THL provides open access to data produced and collated at the institute. Information published as open data does not contain personal information or other confidential information. When the data is opened, all direct identification data is deleted from it.

The license CC-BY-4.0 for THL's open data must be recognised when using the data.

Open APIs

Open data can be processed in machine-readable form and combined with other data. Information is available through open APIs from THL's Statistics and Indicator Bank Sotkanet and from the User Interface for Database Cubes and Reports.
