Services
The Quality in support for work ability and employment project strengthens the capacity of wellbeing services counties and employment areas, as well as private actors, to provide high-quality and effective services supporting work ability and employment.
The wellbeing services counties of South Ostrobothnia and Pirkanmaa are responsible for organising the services within the project, and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) supports the counties with its expertise and guidance in development work. The Parik Foundation represents the service provider perspective and develops onward pathways from rehabilitative work activities to the open labour market.
Goals
- Improve clients’ inclusion, functional capacity and individual preconditions for employment.
- Strengthen the quality of employment-promoting services within social welfare.
- Support the development of multidisciplinary cooperation in work ability support in wellbeing services counties.
- Lower employers’ recruitment threshold by sharing information and strengthening competence.
Implementation
The project carries out national and regional development work as well as co-development focusing on people who are difficult to employ. Client work pilots are implemented in South Ostrobothnia, Pirkanmaa and Kymenlaakso.
Within the project, quality criteria are developed, multidisciplinary cooperation is strengthened, competence is enhanced, and cooperation with employers is carried out.
