Visit THL
The Finnish welfare system and social and healthcare services are often considered models for other countries. Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare THL as a national expert agency plays a central role in collecting, analysing and producing information concerning Finnish policies, systems and structures and the health and wellbeing of the population. For these reasons, THL is a popular destination for many international delegations and study visits.

General conditions for visits
THL welcomes professional international visitor groups for short visits to learn about its activities, expert work and research.
General conditions for visits are:
- your work or research program belongs to the social or health sector
- you represent a ministry or other national level institution, public research institute or university
- you are willing to pay a fee that will cover costs for meeting space and working hours of both administrative and expert staff involved in the visit
- your group is not larger than 30 persons
