Who are the instructions for?

This guide is intended for social and health care professionals who meet self-destructive clients.

How to do a safety plan?

A safety plan is a personal guide to situations where there is a high risk of suicide.

It is important that the safety plan is simple so that it can be followed even in difficult situations.

Guidance on how to prepare a safety plan is provided in the materials that can be found in the right-hand column of this tab under Further information elsewhere.
