More information for study participants
Why should you participate in the study?
You can take part in the study on the experiences of persons with disabilities during the coronavirus pandemic if you are an adult and you have been granted personal assistance in accordance with the Disability Services Act.
The study produces up-to-date information on the effects of the coronavirus epidemic on persons with disabilities who use personal assistance. Taking the survey is voluntary. Your responses are crucial for us to get as comprehensive and reliable information as possible on the situation of people receiving personal assistance during the coronavirus epidemic.
By using the data collected in the study, we can assess the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the health and welfare of personal assistance clients and the effectiveness of services. The results of the study can be used to develop services for persons with disabilities and to plan restrictive measures in similar exceptional situations.
Publications on the results will be produced from the beginning of 2021, and information on them will be published on THL’s website and in the Online Handbook on Disability Services in Finland.
Implementation of information collection
You can take the survey between 7 December 2020 and 11 January 2021. You can find a link to the survey on the website of the study. Please take the survey only once.
