Establishment of Kosovo Forensic Psychiatry Institute
Coordinated and structured delivery process of forensic psychiatry services according to EU standards.
Objectives
Improve the treatment of mentally ill law offenders by enabling Kosovo authorities to deliver professional services through the establishment of Kosovo Forensic Psychiatry Institute(KFPI).The KFPI and its Steering Group will be a part of the Kosovar Health system and work closely with the Judiciary.
Implementation
Reinforcement of coordination mechanisms and an effective Kosovo Forensic Psychiatry Institute's management structure and standard operating procedures.Training of professionals is an integral part of the project.
