Joint Action on HIV and Co-infection Prevention and Harm Reduction (HA-REACT)
HA-REACT addresses existing gaps in the prevention of HIV and co-infections (especially tuberculosis and hepatitis) among people who inject drugs.
Objectives
The purpose of the project is: Improved capacity to respond to HIV and co-infection risks and provide harm reduction with specific focus on people who inject drugs (PWID) in the EU.
Implementation
The project includes eight work packages: Coordination, Dissemination, Evaluation, Testing and linkage to care, Scaling up harm reduction, Harm reduction and continuity of care in prisons, Integrated care, and Sustainability and long-term funding.

Associated partners from Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain (23 associated partners).
Twelve ollaborating partners - among them ECDC, EMCDDA, organisations from Norway, Sweden and UK.
