Objectives

To increase the adoption of behaviours that reduce non-communicable diseases and injuries (NCDI) and to improve prevention and medical treatment of NCDI by: (a) Increased awareness of NCDI risk factors, (b) Early detection of diseases, and (c) Increased access to efficient prevention interventions.

Implementation

Provision of long- and short-term technical expertise and other support for building national capacities and to strengthen the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Mongolian National Programme on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases and Injuries.
