Strengthening penitentiary system in Kosovo

Further strengthening the correctional and probation services in Kosovo (KS 15 IPA JH 01 16)

To support Kosovo in improving the standards of judiciary sector by further strengthening the institutional framework of the penitentiary system.

Objectives

The purpose of the project is to improve the standards of the probation and penitentiary system in Kosovo by strengthening the effective and efficient management of the correctional and probation services in accordance with the European Union standards and practices. 

Implementation

Implemented in Kosovo in partnership with Kosovo Correctional Service (KCS) and Kosovo Probation Service (KPS) under the Ministry of Justice of Kosovo (MoJ).
