Statistics on the well-being of young people

How can the results of the School health promotion study be utilised?

Municipalities and wellbeing services counties will utilise the results in the monitoring of the health and wellbeing of children and young people and in management for wellbeing, for example, when drawing up wellbeing plans for children and young people.

The results of the whole country are used, for example, in the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of policy programmes and various laws. Comparative data is used, for example, by officials developing welfare services for children and young people, decision-makers, researchers and journalists, as well as, for example, by teachers together with children and young people.

The comparison views of the regions and indicators also include separately the results of children and young people with a foreign background and the results of Swedish-speaking educational institutions.

Models for the utilisation of results in educational institutions, municipalities and wellbeing services counties

The results should be discussed with decision-makers, employees, children and young people, and guardians when the results are used in student welfare plans, well-being plans and the development of activities, as well as background information. From the links below, you will find ideas and discussion tasks for processing the results with children and young people.
