Vaccine procurement plan for the national vaccination programme
Decisions on vaccine procurements that are significant in economic terms or for some other reason are made by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The decisions are implemented by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The purpose of this calendar is to provide preliminary information for vaccine manufacturers, allowing them to plan their production. The procurement plan is subject to change without separate notice.
The plan contains the publication dates of the anticipated procurements. The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare will update it as required by the situation.
The plan was drawn up assuming that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health will decide to go for any options included in the procurements. If the options are not used, the dates of the procurements shown in the plan may be brought forward.
