Network of municipalities and regions for equality and non-discrimination
YHTA-network is a mailing list for employees in municipalities and wellbeing service counties, who have tasks related to promoting equality and non-discrimination. Employees of organisations and projects engaged in regional equality work may also join the list.
We also organize meetings (YHTA-meetings) for the subscribers of the mailing list to strengthen the flow of information on good practices for promoting equality and non-discrimination and to support equality work in municipalities and wellbeing services counties.
Via the mailing list and meetings, municipalities and wellbeing service counties can receive and transmit up-to-date information on the following
- equality planning and its implementation
- recent studies, publications and guides
- projects and events
- other operational equality and non-discrimination work.
As a rule, the list is not intended for sharing information on personnel policy or on equality between regions. Commercial bulletins may not be sent via the list.
The Centre for Gender Equality Information (THL) is responsible for coordinating the mailing list together with the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities.
Subscribing to the list
Joining the list requires that the person has an e-mail address from an organisation working with municipal, wellbeing service county or regional equality work. The Centre for Gender Equality Information approves those who subscribe to the list.
To subscribe to the list, type only the following text in capital letters in the message field:
SUBSCRIBE yhta-lista
and send the message without a subject and signature to LISTSERV[at]forum.thl.fi
Sending a message to the list
Approved persons are free to send messages to the list. To help in preventing spam, please confirm that you sent the message by clicking on the link in the reply message.
The mailing list’s languages are Finnish and Swedish. Materials in other languages should be accompanied by Finnish or Swedish explanatory texts.
You can also send attachments to the list in the following formats; .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg or .png. Please avoid sending large attachments. Before sending an attachment, it is a good idea to ensure that the attachment is accessible.

Unsubscribing from the list
If you want to unsubscribe from the list, type only the following text in capital letters in the message field:
SIGNOFF yhta-lista
and send the message without a subject and signature to LISTSERV[at]forum.thl.fi
