IPS employment specialists record in the same electronic health record as the rest of the care team. The unit agrees on the structure in which the job coaching will be recorded.
In addition, IPS job coaching includes the IPS model's own client work forms, which you as an IPS specialist fill in with the client at all stages of the coaching. It takes time to get used to working with the forms – however, the forms support and structure the client work and the coaching process and make it visible.
IPS employment specialists agree with the IPS team leader on more detailed rules for recording in order to avoid double recording. Client work forms are stored securely in a manner agreed upon in the organisation.

IPS job coaching is recorded as a healthcare entry. Mental health services have a separate group I procedure code for IPS job coaching, IEY30.
IPS info event for clients or so-called tripartite discussion between the client, the primary nurse and the IPS specialist before starting the job coaching is recorded with the code IAB04.
IPS forms for client work
The use of client work forms supports and paces the client work process of IPS job coaching. The information contained in the forms is also examined in the IPS fidelity review, which is part of the IPS operating model.
Fidelity review of the IPS job coaching service
You will fill in forms on professional profiling, employer meetings, and the conclusion and termination of an employment relationship, among other things. It is important to document systematically all phases of the coaching process.

If you work as an IPS team leader, it is essential to use the team leader's monitoring table (or a self-prepared document template containing similar information) to support your daily work on an ongoing basis. A lot of information is collected in the team leader's table, and this information is also assessed in the IPS fidelity review.
