Head of Unit Marjo Loisa
The Communications and Influencing unit is responsible for the overall coordination of THL’s organisation-level communications and influencing activities.
The unit
- Supports the implementation of THL’s strategy and clarifies THL’s profile.
- Increases the impact of THL’s research and expertise and maintains THL’s strong voice in society.
- Develops and manages THL’s brand.
- Is responsible for the effectiveness of THL’s communication products and channels in a resource-efficient manner.
The unit consists of three teams: Communications Partnership, Communication Solutions, and Brand Experience.
Communications Partnership
Team Manager Oliver Kiviharju
The team plans, develops and implements communications and influencing activities in line with THL’s strategy and priorities together with internal and external partners.
Communication Solutions
Team Manager Marko Lähteenmäki
The team has overall responsibility for several key platforms and products in THL’s communications and influencing activities. The team develops and maintains content, infrastructure, interaction and customer experience.
Brand Experience
Team Manager Julia Jokelin
The Brand Experience team is responsible for the development of THL’s brand, including marketing, events, international visits, visual communications and information design, internal communications and employee experience. The team is also responsible for developing and implementing influencing communications.
