- The unit strengthens information steering of the healthcare and social welfare service system by producing relevant, reliable, and comparable data as a basis for steering and decision-making in healthcare and social welfare.
- Our data products provide insight into the state, functioning, and development trends of the service system and services. Our expertise, combined with our data products, supports national and regional management of healthcare and social welfare, resource allocation, and the improvement of service effectiveness.
- We ensure that data assets used in information steering are of high quality and can be used effectively in the development of the entire service system and social security. We develop data products in close cooperation with our healthcare and social welfare experts.
- As part of the overall steering of the healthcare and social welfare system, we carry out the statutory evaluation of the organisation responsibilities of wellbeing services counties. The evaluation produces independent and systematic data on the performance of wellbeing services counties, strengthening transparency and supporting the continuous improvement of the service system.
