The Resources unit

• Supports the institute’s operations by managing resource planning, monitoring, operational management and reporting.
• Supports decision-making by providing up-to-date HR, financial and facilities data.
• Ensures smooth and consistent HR, financial and working environment services, thereby securing quality and continuity.

The unit is divided into four teams.

Personnel

Team Managers (Marika Lauri on leave of absence), Meri Louhi (Acting)

The team supports planning and monitoring human resources, manages organisational and HR data, and provides HR legal services and support.

Financial Management

Team Managers Tuomas Kauranne

The team is responsible for THL’s income and expenditure, accounting, financial statements, procurement and assets.

Financial Planning

Team Managers Susanne Ramstedt

The team supports annual financial planning of departments, financial reporting, project lifecycle financial support and preparation of financial statements.

Working Environment

Team Managers Anita Nieminen

The team is responsible for workplace functionality and services, laboratory support, sample management, facilities data maintenance and cooperation with Senate Properties.
