Joint Action on Reducing Alcohol Related Harm (RARHA)

Objectives
Advancing EU-wide comparative alcohol data gathering also for the future. Seeking synergy in communication on low risk drinking guidelines. Producing a Tool Kit of evidence based transferable communication approaches.
Implementation
The work is divided in three core work packages, each with a pair of coordinators: (WP4) compatative data - PARPA/Poland & IFT/Germany; (WP5) drinking guidelines - THL/Finland & ISS/Italy; (WP6) good practices - NIJZ/Slovenia & BZgA/Germany. Overall coordination is with SICAD/Portugal.

Further partners include international expert organisations (e.g. EMCDDA, WHO, OECD Health Division, Pompidou Group) and European non-governmental organisations (e.g. Eurocare, EuroHealthNet).
The Work Package coordinated by THL, focussed on low risk drinking guidelines, involves 35 partners.
