The Transforming Health and Care Systems Partnership supports the renewal of national health and welfare systems to become more people-centred, effectual, and equal.
In the Partnership, research organisations, funding agencies and public authorities from 26 countries will come together to find future solutions through research and innovation.
THL coordinates an entity that is mapping research, development and innovation measures and related educational needs and creating methods for disseminating best solutions among the systems of different countries.
Objectives
The general objective of the partnership is to contribute to the transition towards more sustainable, efficient, resilient, inclusive, innovative and high-quality people-centred health and care systems equally accessible to all people.
Implementation
THCS supports coordinated national and regional research and innovation programmes along with capacity building, networking, dissemination and other key activities to support health and care systems transformation.
Partners
The Partnership gathers 63 partners from 26 countries.
The Finnish partners are Tampere University, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the Academy of Finland.
Funding
THCS is a Cofund action under the Horizon Europe Programme.
