THL's medicinal product wholesale

acquires and distributes the vaccines of the national vaccination program. Parliament allocates the necessary funds for this every year.
deliver the vaccines of the national vaccination program free of charge to the medical center or hospital pharmacy in the welfare area.

In addition, THL takes care of the availability of vaccines, antibodies and research materials needed to combat certain dangerous or rare infectious diseases.

THL has a license granted by the pharmaceutical authority for the operation of the medicinal product wholesale.
