Development and Guidance
The Development and Guidance unit produces, develops and implements client-oriented operating models and tools to support the operations and management of THL.
The unit
- is responsible for the THL's strategy and foresight work as well as for operating policy and quality work
- coordinates and implements the planning, monitoring and evaluation processes for THL operations
- coordinates THL's performance management
- develops and implements THL’s portfolio leadership and portfolio management
- manages THL’s development office, which supports the project and service activities of the department and related management
- supports service continuity and lifecycle management and is responsible for developing operating models related to demand management
- responsible for promoting accessibility at THL
- provides support for RDI management and funding applications
- coordinates RDI support services at THL
- provides expertise in international affairs
- implements international development projects
- produces THL’s centralised services such as information search and library services, registry services and management support services.
