Data and analytics
The Data and Analytics Unit promotes the interoperability and versatile utilisation of information resources.
Unit services and tasks:
- produces and develops analytics, reporting and extractions from health and social services information resources
- maintains and publishes the health and social services’ information structures, classifications and glossaries
- coordinates metadata descriptions of the THL’s data and develops metadata management
- collects and retains data, coordinates the THL’s data acquisition and processing and develops associated methods
- coordinates and develops services for the management of open data
- supports the life cycle management, active period and long-term retention and information management of all the THL’s data
- cooperates with Findata and FINBB
