Information and guidance of information management

We coordinate, support and develop health and social services information management, information system services and information production together with our partners and stakeholders.

Unit:

• develops and maintains customer data and functional requirements that ensure the interoperability of health and social services,
• produce’s the THL’s key register and statistical data
• responsible for activities of the statistical authority and the development of these activities at the THL, 
• supports and provides guidance to service providers, Kanta service development and information system implementations with plans, instructions, specifications and regulations related to information management and
• engages in national and international statistical and standardisation cooperation.
