The EasyRAIder databases are tools for supporting the development of an organisation’s operations.

The EasyRAIder databases are intended for service providers and service organisers to monitor and develop their own operations, as well as to compare performance between organisations.

From the databases, you can view summaries of all service providers and their units regarding clients assessed with RAI instruments, as well as information on operations, quality of care, and the corresponding national RAI Benchmarking data.

You can compare the performance of your organisation’s units with each other, as well as compare them with other organisations, regions, and the national level.

You can utilise the database at all organisational levels, for example in:

  • managing, coordinating, and monitoring operations at unit, service county, and organisational level
  • coordinating and monitoring service provision
  • unit-level self-monitoring and the regulatory oversight carried out by the Wellbeing service county

Content

The content of the EasyRAIder databases corresponds to that of the HC and LTC RAI Benchmarking Reports, with some exceptions. Unlike the Benchmarking Reports, the EasyRAIder database also allows you to limit results to only new clients of the organisation, as well as to review results at the Wellbeing service county and municipal levels.

The EasyRAIder databases contain benchmarking data for all service providers and their units from the past five years. The data are divided into ten half-year datasets.

The data are compiled from all clients who have received a full assessment in the units. If a client has multiple assessments within the same half-year period, only the most recent assessment is included in the benchmarking data.

Logging in to the EasyRAIder database

The EasyRAIder databases are available for partner organisations participating in the jointly funded RAI benchmarking development. You will receive a login ID from the RAI contact person of your Wellbeing service county or your organisation.

The EasyRAIder databases are instrument-specific. If an organisation or one of its units uses multiple RAI assessment instruments, the aggregated assessment data will appear in separate EasyRAIder databases. For example, the interRAI-HC and interRAI-LTCF instruments may be used for different client groups in so-called hybrid units.

Restrictions on benchmarking data and data protection

It is not possible to identify any individual client from the RAI Benchmarking data. Suppression and aggregation rules are applied in the benchmarking databases to ensure data protection. In all databases, any data based on fewer than five assessments are suppressed.

More information about the restrictions applied to benchmarking data is available on the Frequently Asked Questions tab
