RAI benchmarking reports are tools for developing the operations of care units.
RAI benchmarking report is intended for service providers and organizers to support the monitoring and development of their own operations.
With the RAI benchmarking report, you can review and compare your organization's and its units’:
- indicators describing the client structure
- indicators describing operations and quality
- information in relation to the national average
Content
The RAI benchmarking report includes comparative data for your organization’s units from the past two years, presented as four half-year datasets.
The data are compiled from all clients in the unit who have undergone a full assessment. If a client has multiple assessments within the same half-year period in the unit, only the most recent assessment is included in the comparative data.
Logging in to the RAI benchmarking report
You will receive a login ID from the RAI contact person of your Wellbeing service county or your organisation.
- RAI benchmarking report for home care (interRAI-HC and RAI-HC, in Finnish)
- RAI benchmarking report for long-term care (interRAI-LTCF and RAI-LTC, in Finnish)
- RAI benchmarking report for intellectual disability services (interRAI-ID, in Finnish)
- RAI benchmarking report for service needs assessment (interRAI-CHA, in Finnish)
- RAI benchmarking report for community mental health services (interRAI-CMH, in Finnish)
- RAI benchmarking report for child and youth mental health and developmental disability services (interRAI-ChYMH-DD, in Finnish)
RAI benchmarking reports are instrument-specific. If your organisation or one of its units uses multiple RAI assessment instruments, the aggregated assessment data will appear on separate benchmarking reports. For example, the interRAI-HC and interRAI-LTCF instruments may be used for different client groups in so-called hybrid units.
Restrictions on benchmarking data and data protection
It is not possible to identify any individual client from the RAI Benchmarking data. The RAI databases apply suppression and aggregation rules to ensure the data protection of the benchmarking information. In all benchmarking databases, any data based on fewer than five assessments are suppressed.
