The new Disability Services Act entered into force in Finland on 1 January 2025. The content will be updated to reflect the new Disability Services Act.
In this part, we present the main disability services that a person can receive from the wellbeing services county. On the grounds of their disability, a person can receive services based on various laws simultaneously, and they are not mutually exclusive. The client has a subjective right to some of the services and support measures while others depend on the appropriations of the wellbeing services county.
