The aim of the study is to develop methods for more accurate prediction of psychosis in an unselected patient population. After a baseline study and 12 months' follow-up, the project will continue as a register study.

The research has been carried out in collaboration with adolescent psychiatry units in the Helsinki metropolitan area within the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa. Participants were selected on the basis of a questionnaire assessing unusual experiences. The research methods used in the baseline study and the 12-month follow-up consisted of neuro-psychological testing and SIPS interviews.
