General Information
The promotion of wellbeing and health is a statutory responsibility of municipalities and wellbeing services counties in Finland. This training programme consists of three online courses produced by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), which support wellbeing and health promotion work in municipalities and wellbeing services counties.
The online training courses provide basic knowledge, practical tools, and concrete examples of promotive and preventive work in social and health services, ex ante assessment of impacts on people, and knowledge-based management in municipalities. Each course has its own tab with a more detailed description and learning objectives.
The online training courses are intended for social and health care professionals, educational institution leaders, municipal preparers and presenters, and others who promote wellbeing and health locally and regionally as part of their work.
