Health care and social welfare personnel

The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) reports information about social and health care personnel every year. Due to database changes, the following information will be published at the end of 2020.

Report is based on the Employment Statistics compiled by Statistics Finland and register data of Professional practice right for health care professionals compiled by National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira). THL) has reviewed the data to ensure that the different data included in the report are compatible. As a result of these amendments, the statistics published by THL are not exactly compatible with those of Statistics Finland or those of Valvira.
