Individual Placement and Support – Exploring Impact and Effectiveness
Fifth International Conference of the IPS European Learning Community 

September 16th and 17th, 2025

You are warmly welcome to the 5th annual IPS European Learning Community Conference.
The event will be held in the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Tuesday's speeches are live streamed and can be followed remotely, too. The stream will not be recorded.

The conference participation, workshops and conference lunches are free of charge. 

Timing

Please note, that during the clocks' summer time, all times are UTC+3.

Monday 15th September 

• Self-funded, independent leisure activity i.e. in Helsinki's many public saunas - the most courageous ones can dip into the sea. We will prepare you a list of saunas and other interesting sites. 

Tuesday 16th September 

• Registration, coffee and poster wall from 8:30 am – we recommend you arrive early and take your time to network and get familiar with the posters!
• Conference at 10 am – 5 pm (incl. complimentary lunch)
• Self-funded conference dinner in the floating panorama Restaurant MeripaviljonkiLink to an external websiteAvautuu uudessa välilehdessä at 7:30 pm. According to sustainability, fish and vegetable options will be available. 

Wednesday 17th September 

• Morning coffee, poster wall and networking at 9:00 – 9:30 am
• Conference workshops at 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
• Networking and complimentary lunch together before heading home at 12:30 – 2:00 pm 
• The event ends at 2:00 pm.

Agenda

• The preliminary conference agenda is now published.
• Each country will have the possibility to expose a poster on their IPS activity. More information will be given during the spring.  

Registration 

• Registration to the conference is now opened for persons in the IPS Learning Community. We kindly ask the conference speakers to fill the registration form, too.

• Please note, that registration to the conference dinner on Tuesday, September 16th, is done with a separate form. You may participate to the conference dinner only by registering to and paying it in advance.

• Seats in the premises are limited. This is why registration for other interested participants will be opened later in spring 2025.

• All interested are warmly welcome to follow the conference's first day (Tuesday 16th) speeches remotely.

Location and transportation

• The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) is located at Mannerheimintie 166, which is 5 km away from the Helsinki city center and the central railway station. Read more: Welcome to Tilkanmäki.
