Trust in the future increases families’ desire for children – a quarter of first-time parents still hesitate

According to a recent survey, the most common reason for hesitation about having more children is coping as a parent. Factors that increased the desire for children included trust in the future, sufficient income, and positive birth experiences.

THL invites 16,000 residents in Finland to take part in the Healthy Finland survey

This autumn, we are studying the well-being of people aged 15 and over living in Finland. To ensure the reliability of the results, it is important that everyone who receives an invitation responds to the survey. The study collects information on the population’s health, functional capacity, lifestyles, and experiences of health services.
