Focus

Social Protection System Review (SPSR). Strengthening of disability inclusion in the training (in-/pre-service) of social workers and social protection professionals at local and central government levels. Disability inclusion support to larger projects funded by the EU-delegation, Finland, WFP, other UN, Germany (tbc) 

Planned outcome

De-institutionalization of disabled persons’ care and transition from a medical to social and rights based approaches to disability. Strengthened professional capacity and attitude change of social workers and other social protection professionals. 

Coordination

Coordination with the activities of Finland, EUD, WFP, UNDP, Unicef, ILO, Germany, HelpAge.
