EU-SPS co-operation with Indonesia

Focus

Support to the Network of Disability Inclusive Cities in Indonesia. Strengthening of disability inclusion in the in-service training of local (‘dinas sosial’) and central government (‘panti sosial’).

Planned outcome

Government gets a balanced overview of the long term demographic, social, economic and fiscal conditions for social protection policy development (SPSR). Improved coordination of social work efforts – particularly on disability inclusion - of the local social offices of the local government (‘dinas social’) and of the Ministry (‘panti sosial’). 

Coordination

Coordination with the activities of the strongly Finnish-funded UN Partnership on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNPRPD), GIZ, EUD.
