Focus

Social Protection capacity development through curriculum assessment and development in Tanzanian universities and colleges; In-service training in support of SP policy reform (Mainland and Zanzibar); First in-country training using the regional African TRANSFORM Package; Application of the ISPA Public Works tool with TASAF;  SPIREWORK (SP for informal and rural economy workers (forestry), Baby Box (tbc), SP Data Visualization (tbc). 

Planned outcome

Systematization of multi-professional SP capacity development efforts (pre- and in-service) into the permanent national training institutes. Well-informed scale-up of public works (TASAF) and SP for informal workers in productive sectors.

Coordination

Coordination with and leveraging additional support from other development partners (ILO, Unicef, Finland/FAO-SPIREWORK, AU-TRANSFORM, Socialprotection.org, EU-SOCIEUX, EUD, KfW)
