EU-SPS co-operation with Togo

Focus

Capacity building and evidence generation for the national social protection policy prioritization process, using the Inter-Agency Social Protection Policy Options Tool (ISPA-SPPOT). Fiscal equity analysis. Linking Togo to an international network of agencies developing an open source health management information system (HIMIS).

Planned outcome

Capacity and evidence available for the Government to develop a prioritized roadmap for the long-term efforts to provide social protection for all in all lifecycle situations.  

Coordination

Coordination with ILO and other ISPA partners on the SPPOT. GIZ leads the HIMIS work, cooperating with Swiss and other health sector partners, e.g. EU-SOCIEUX, France, Belgium. Commitment to Equity.
