Social Protection Sector Review (SPSR). Organizational capacity assessment of institutions the Government is considering as managers of the main social assistance programmes (grant for pregnant women and children, disability grant, and social pension). Innovative occupational accident insurance for informal workers in the construction sector.
Planned outcome
Government gets a balanced overview of the long term demographic, social, economic and fiscal conditions for social protection policy development (SPSR). Government understands better the capacity of various Cambodian institutions to manage well the main social assistance programmes. Government and social partners innovate and test approaches that can be used to provide occupational accident insurance to informal workers in the construction sector.
