Statistics on passenger imports of alcoholic beverages include information on imports of alcoholic beverages by passengers arriving in Finland. Passenger imports are part of undocumented alcohol consumption. The statistics are released three times a year – in February, June, and October.

The information in the statistic is based on the European School Survey Project on Alcohol and other Drugs (ESPAD), which is conducted every four years. The study monitors changes in the use of alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, and illegal drugs, as well as gambling among European school pupils of the same age.

Suomalaisten rahapelaaminen

The statistic describes attitudes and opinions of Finns aged 15–74 on gambling divided according to gender, age group, and region in 2007–2019. Prevailing attitudes about gambling were examined using the Attitudes Towards Gambling Scale (ATGS-8; Wardle et. al. 2011). The themes of the opinion questions included the placement of slot machines, the Finnish gambling system, the marketing of games of chance, and gambling outside mainland Finland.
