LASTA model nominated for European Social Services Award

The Finnish LASTA screening model has been nominated for the prestigious European Social Services Award 2025. The award is awarded annually to pioneers in social services who promote effective and sustainable solutions to societal challenges.

The LASTA model has been developed in various projects since 2014. In the Barnahus project, the development work has involved the Wellbeing services counties, the National Police Board, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The public vote for the ESSA Award is open from 1 to 24 October 2025. LASTA model is in the category Public Sector Collaboration in Social Services Award.
